Brad cut PV from the program this year do to LOW TURNOUT last year. It seams as that Vintage racers show up in greater numbers and the Vintage OR PV racedays are taking a toll on PV events with only 4 Northwest Regional Ahrma Events scheduled, with 1 more, To be announced this year. The only PV bikes racing this weekend were the Vintage-Am racers. Brad's friend, former Factory Maico mechanic Steve Stasiefski, who was Brad's mechanic at Kawasaki and Suzuki from 79-82. and Brad, worked for weeks to prepare Grahm Noyce's racebike to track condition. Mike Tillman and Mark Alcorn were the the forces behind the building of Zedenek Velky and Danny LaPorte's racebikes.

Team SuperHunky had it's first ever Wedding. Expert Racers Tami Rice and Rolf Greenhill of Corona Kid Racing, were wed at the Awards ceramony Saturday afternoon.

Parts Unlimited's Dave Coupe'
Brad Lackey's 4th annual Nor-Cal classic had a new concept for an AHRMA National MX. Brad Lackey used his World Class connections to bring MX Champions from all over the Globe, to the San Francisco Bay area, for a "Vintage-Am" The roster was impressive with National, World, and Series Champs competing one moto a day in the 2 day event. Stars included Graham Noyce, Zdenek Velkey, Herbert Schmitz, Lars Larson, Danny LaPorte, Gary Jones, Chuck Sun, Bill Silverthorn, Doug Grant, and Rodney Smith.
Tami and Rolf's Best Man and Maid of Honor were Brad Lackey and Bonnie Warch. Good friend Janette Player performed the Wedding service. Brad and Bonnie are TSH also.......

Chuck Sun and Graham Noyce, taking in the local flavor of The Vintage-Am/ Wedding at the Barn @ SandHill, Lion Beer, Yummy
Dave Coupe' is a bike collector of sorts and sponsored Gary Jones on this Honda Cr 450. Gary hole shot Sunday's race on it. Rodney Smith won that race on a flat Dunlop tire. We were all in awe of Rodney's Ability to go that fast on a tire that was completely flat. Then someone says "That tire is available through Parts Unlimited"

Andrea Beach, Brad Lackey and Bonnie Warch. Andrea was sponsored for the weekend by Vintagemxracer.com on the Al Larsen Replica, SL 125 Honda. She won! both days. We are so proud of her.

This year they really did a good Job with signup and Tech. It went fast and smooth, even though there were over 300 entries.
I finally got to meet "Hurricane Hannah". I shook his hand as I always do when meeting or greeting someone, it felt awkward and offish, I told him of my plight, that when I signed up for Vintage races people would ask if we were related, I told him I would say "No". He did not laugh. Got a picture and that was it. Later that day waiting in line for dinner I bumped into some people who claimed to know Bob for a long time, I told them of the experience, they explained that Bob is a very Clean person that does not like to shake hands and is very private, he meets a lot of people and his fame makes it hard to be Private so it's a challenge for him, but now I look at us side by side and look at those chins and dimples, Hmmmmmmm ?
