Near Milliken Co. Last year Chris, Happy and I went to the AHRMA National Vintage MX race near Milliken Colo. It was
really an excellent event on “The Farm” but the thing my wife Chris and I will remember most was Johnsons Corner truck
stop. This place was so cool. It has something for everyone. First and foremost it is a truck stop with parking large
enough for even the biggest RV/trailer set up. Gas and diesel are there at a reasonable price. Once inside there is a
Gift shop, Truck supplies, Showers, Laundry room, Bakery and I’ve saved my favorite for last the DINER!!. Johnson’s
Corner diner was voted one of the 5 best truck stops in the country by the Food Network in 2004. Travel & Leisure
Magazine in an article awarded Johnson’s one of the 10 Best breakfast spots in the world. Chris and I were hooked on
the turkey dinner. We had it twice it was that good. Oh the Pies, I mentioned the Bakery. Well that’s where the pies come
from, right inside the building. Flakey crisp crust, fresh fillings not overdone with the sugar. They are famous for their
HUGE plate sized Cinnamon Rolls. Oh man I can hardly wait for Milliken to roll around again. Poor Happy, he didn’t get
very many scraps those 2 days but he did have a nice play/walk area. Johnson’s Corner 2842 SE Frontage Rd
