Ahrma National 10/12 Hollister, OOps there goes another one. Is it too FAST or are we too slow? The meat wagon was going like a Dominos delivery truck on SuperBowl Sunday
Rick Hollenbeck, Hosted an awsome race. The dirt he brought in made the track so nice, I had to keep reminding myself I was in Tulare. The track was wide and safe & as always FAST.

The 82 YZ 250 felt so good the first race out. The Hannah Replica worked out great on this Beautifully groomed, multi-elevation, Mx track. Ric Tipton did it again!

Out of the aprox. 600 entries, 10 racers showed up to race the Vintage, and 15 for the Post Vintage classes of the Sand Hill MX marathon. Jan 1st 2009. The cold foggy conditions made racing for an hour easier. I got to spend some time talking to Brad Lackey and learned some cool stuff. I also acquired a new motocross hero. Kelly Shane, is a man I hold in high regard. Waking up in the wee hours on the first day of 2009 in Truckee Calif. to come race his Open Sportsman twin.
Vintage Mx Racer is a San Francisco bay area based, on-line monthly magazine, about Vintage and Post Vintage MotoCross racing. It is not a "one club" or "results" thing. We try to let you know what is coming up and how it felt to be at the races around here. We do take field trips outside the area to select events
For an hour around a track designed and hosted by Phil and Tom Anderson. The track had steep jumps and an Endrocross section with logs and rocks, but Kelly rode the whole race on the biggest bike in the event with a smooth steady style. Everyone I talked to, liked most of the track. There were a few bottle necks at the Ecross section, but that's enduro right? The day needed to be longer, as the last race ran out of daylight. Sign ups were slower that I'm used to but they were trying hard to keep things moving........

CycleGear is on again for Sponsoring the 2009 Ahrma N/W Vintage MX series. George and Ellen Roebuck did an awsome job with the Dinner
