| Today Wednesday Aug 5th at around 3pm I spoke with Wayne Gray. Who is a member of the family that owns "The Farm", to clear up the NO water issue. He said in no uncertain terms, that the well was not contaminated. It is a "cased well" and the casing level was much higher than the Flood level, the real problem with the water was the pump motor, in the basement of the farm house, which ended up under water in the flood last winter. The house is not inhabited, so it was not repaired. However, as we spoke he had the new electric pump motor in the back of his pickup, and he assured me it would be installed and there would be potable water at the hose by the barn, Hurray!! |
